Leila Hamidi joined Johnston Marklee as Director of Operations in 2016. She has worked at the intersection of art, design, technology and industry for over 14 years, and has led several cultural projects with renowned universities and museums. In 2010, she was the assistant project director on the Getty initiative, Pacific Standard Time: Art in L.A. 1945-1980, and in 2012, she was director of program development at UCLA Architecture and Urban Design where she launched their SUPRASTUDIO/M.Arch.II program and IDEAS satellite campus.
Leila rejoins Johnston Marklee after her initial hire in 2008 as the firmís first office manager, and now leads and supports the design team on all of Johnston Markleeís projects.
Leila received her BFA from Otis College of Art and Design in 2002. Her arts writing has been published in the quarterly journal X-TRA and her artist interviews can be found on various arts blogs.
