Nelson Byun joined Johnston Marklee as a Project Designer in 2015. While at Johnston Marklee, he has led the design efforts of competitions, including the winning design for the Green Line Arts Center in Chicago. In parallel, he also worked on several commercial/cultural renovation projects in the Los Angeles area.
Originally from New York City, Nelson received a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University and graduated with a Master of Architecture with distinction from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Prior to attending graduate school, he worked for several years at high-profile firms in New York City, London, and Los Angeles.
