1787, Hong Kong-Shenzhen Biennale 2011

1787 is a façade created for the The Street exhibition at the Shenzhen & Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture 2011, where twelve international architects were asked to exhibit their work.

The title of the project is derived from two creations of the year 1787: the Potemkin Village and the Panorama. These themes constitute the basic premise of the two-part project: a primitive facade facing the street with an immersive interior environment.
