The design of the Chan Luu store in Omotesando Hills is based on the transformation of Alvar Aalto's exemplary furniture and its components into a new environment for the handcrafted designs of Chan Luu.

Designed more than eighty years ago, the furniture made of Finnish birch has been built upon, scaled, and transformed into figures, screens, and wall textures that brings a sense of warmth and lightness within the concrete building designed by Tadao Ando.
