Part of an ongoing collaboration with Lannan Foundation of Santa Fe, a series of renovations of 1930s residences in Marfa, Lannan House I, II & III, creates an international writing center within the West Texas town of Marfa. A new reading room and studio, located in the rear yard of House III, is sited under a canopy of adjacent trees. This new accessory structure provides a contemplative enclave to write and read, within a dynamic play of changing light and shadow throughout the day.
